Pink-necked Green Pigeon

The Pink-necked Green Pigeon possesses incredibly lovely colors. The first time I saw this bird, it reminded me of the cute pastel hues of Alua* with the Thai scented candle. It brought back memories of its sugary sweetness and the aroma of traditional candle smoke from when I used to eat it as a child. It is a joyful memory that brings a smile to my face every time I think of it, regardless of what I might be going through in life at that moment.

That is why I wanted to capture that exact feeling and put it into this perfume. Its core note is Alua with the Thai scented candle, which blends together the quintessential aromas of “Thai desserts”: coconut milk, flower-infused water, pandan, palm sugar, and the unique scented candle smoke used specifically in Thai confectionery.

Furthermore, because Pink-necked Green Pigeons are sociable birds that live in flocks, this fragrance was designed to be approachable and friendly to the people around you: polite, sweet, and absolutely lovely. With this scent, I also intentionally set out to evoke the crispiness of the outer sugar shell alongside the soft, creamy coconut milk hidden inside the Alua.
