Itim Kati

Another scent I felt compelled to create comes from something deeply personal, something that has been with me since childhood and never truly left: Itim Kati (Thai-style coconut ice cream, rich and creamy with coconut milk, often served with evaporated milk and roasted peanuts).

It brings me back to those familiar moments of standing by the roadside, waving eagerly at a passing ice cream cart, only to watch it roll right past without stopping. A small, almost universal childhood disappointment in Thailand, where the vendor, already surrounded by customers or simply unable to stop in time, leaves you chasing after a sweetness that slips just out of reach. And somehow, even now, it still feels like it never quite stops when you need it most.

But that’s part of its charm.

Because when you do catch it, a scoop of creamy Itim Kati, drizzled generously with Nom Yok Lor (Thai-style evaporated milk), topped with roasted peanuts, melting slowly under the midday sun, it becomes something unforgettable. A simple street-side treat, yet one that holds warmth, nostalgia, and quiet joy in every bite.

While Thai desserts like khanom krok, mango sticky rice, lod chong, and layered sweets often take the spotlight, I wanted this fragrance to be a small voice for something just as beloved, yet less often spoken of.

A tribute to Itim Kati, not just as a dessert, but as a memory shared, a fleeting moment chased, and a sweetness that, once found, always feels worth the wait.
